Every legal medicine pack in India must print a batch number and expiry date. Knowing where to look takes ten seconds.
Where to look
- Outer carton — usually on one side flap
- Strip / blister — printed on the silver foil edge
- Bottle — embossed near the cap or on the label
Confirm the match
The batch number on the strip must match the carton. A mismatch is a strong fake or repackaging signal.
