Mild side effects are normal as your body adjusts. The trick is knowing the red flags.

Usually fine

  • Mild nausea or upset stomach for the first 2-3 days
  • Slight drowsiness from antihistamines
  • Dry mouth or metallic taste

Stop and seek help

  • Rash, swelling of the face or lips, trouble breathing
  • Jaundice (yellow eyes), dark urine
  • Severe stomach pain or bleeding
  • Confusion, fainting, fast heartbeat
