Mild side effects are normal as your body adjusts. The trick is knowing the red flags.
Usually fine
- Mild nausea or upset stomach for the first 2-3 days
- Slight drowsiness from antihistamines
- Dry mouth or metallic taste
Stop and seek help
- Rash, swelling of the face or lips, trouble breathing
- Jaundice (yellow eyes), dark urine
- Severe stomach pain or bleeding
- Confusion, fainting, fast heartbeat
