Combinations to be careful with
- Two painkillers — paracetamol + ibuprofen is usually fine; two NSAIDs together is not
- Antibiotics + antacids — can block absorption
- Blood thinners + aspirin or ibuprofen — bleeding risk
- BP tablets + cold medicines containing pseudoephedrine
